We’re almost there! Participating Downtown Haddonfield food and beverage establishments, including restaurants, coffee shops, dessert shops, and other food retailers, are permitted to open their doors for indoor dining to 50% capacity starting Friday, March 19. https://downtownhaddonfield.com/dine/
Over the past year, many of the Downtown’s restaurants moved seating outdoors during the warmer months to serve patrons under the health guidelines, and have allowed a very limited number of seatings inside their establishments. The recent announcement by the New Jersey Governor extends seating to indoors 25% capacity (set in September 2020) to 50% capacity.
Downtown Haddonfield offers an assortment of dining choices – including fine restaurants, quaint coffee shops, and sweet ice cream shops. Haddonfield has it all… fine chef-owned restaurants offering a range of cuisines like Italian, Asian, Mediterranean, Indian, and more; fun & casual dining options like hoagies, pizza, organic juice drinks, yogurt, and more; and an array of gourmet and food-oriented retailers – with shops selling everything from gourmet cupcakes and specialty olive oils to food items from France and the British Isles. The chefs of Haddonfield offer guests an authentic experience with unique menu items offering savory dining options sure to meet the appetite of any hungry shopper. Patrons are asked to wear masks unless eating, and maintain six feet of distance between others while dining.
Outdoor seating will continue at many establishments, weather permitting, to allow more guests to enjoy a Downtown meal. For those who prefer it, curbside delivery of pre-ordered retail purchases remains available at many shops; and restaurants continue with curbside pickups and deliveries of all your Haddonfield favorites.
HADDONFIELD CARES: BE SAFE & MASK UP
The Downtown is adhering to state guidelines by requiring visitors to wear masks indoors, not only for their safety but for the safety of others around them. Masks should also be worn outdoors when six feet of social distance cannot be practiced. Social distancing should be maintained between visitors wherever possible, and hand sanitizing protocols should be practiced.
