Brief Description: Joan Balderstone from Distributing Dignity will share her
experiences with Distributing Dignity, an organization which
enhances the dignity of women in need.
Time: 7:30 pm

Distributing Dignity
Joan Balderstone, Co-Founder of Distributing Dignity, Inc., will share information about Distributing Dignity at the February meeting of the Haddon Fortnightly Evening Membership Department. The meeting will be held February 11th at 7:30pm at The Haddon Fortnightly, 301 Kings Highway East, Haddonfield, New Jersey 08033. Distributing Dignity is a non-profit organization which enhances the dignity of women in need by distributing feminine hygiene and undergarments.

Distributing Dignity exists to help women in transition. For some, this transition is immediate and short lived. For others, the transition might be long in the making and may take some time to complete.

Distributing Dignity partners with 70 other non-profit organizations in 52 cities that service women in care who may be aging out of foster care, seeking refuge from domestic violence or abuse, struggling with life altering illnesses, displaced by disaster, and homeless veterans and teens.

Distributing Dignity’s volunteers come together as an organization to say outwardly to each woman in need that they are here to help them with a very basic need while communicating a quiet yet poignant message that we see their value as people…as women.

We’ll be holding two limited seatings, one at 5 pm and another at 7 pm, both at Greenfield Hall, 343 Kings Highway East, Haddonfield. Only 50 tickets are available for each.

Tickets are $60 per person, and all proceeds will benefit the Historical Society. Guests must be at least 21 years old.
