Planning an Event? Explore The Haddon Fortnightly Clubhouse at an Open House for Prospective Renters

The Haddon Fortnightly Rentals Committee will be hosting an Open House at the Haddon Fortnightly Clubhouse for prospective renters from noon to 3 PM on Sunday, March 26.(Snow date: Sunday April 2) at 301 E. Kings Hwy Haddonfield. As an incentive for booking an event at the Haddon Fortnightly, a 10% discount is being offered for any visitor that signs a contract and pays the necessary deposit from 3/26-4/26 .
The Haddon Fortnightly Building, situated in the heart of charming colonial Haddonfield, was constructed in 1857 and is on the National Registry of Historic Places With its unique Greek revival architectural style and large majestic white columns, The Haddon Fortnightly is the perfect location for special events, and offers a number of spaces that can be used in a variety of ways for weddings, receptions, theater groups, recitals, Bat/bar mitzvahs, bridal showers, reunions, corporate and special events of all types.
The first floor main entertaining space has a slightly elevated small stage and ten decorative columns centered with lovely chandeliers. Beyond this room is the formal “Tea Room,” with a large fireplace, built in cabinetry and an inviting alcove. A professional, commercial, newly renovated kitchen, powder room, men’s room and coat closets complete the picture. The second floor also contains a full theatrical balcony, accessed by a pair of 19th century winding staircases, often used for larger events. The building can be rented for 5 hours for one floor or 8 hours for one or both floors. The facility accommodates: Gallery seating for 150, cocktail reception for 250, auditorium seating for 250.
Some of the building’s exceptionally beutiful features includes three sets of French front doors that open into a large terrazzo tile floor, with sweeping, circular staircases on either side that ascend to a full balcony overlooking the foyer, and leading to the second floor ballroom/auditorium, which features a proscenium stage with professional lighting.
